 Holly Poe, President: Founded by registered diagnostic medical sonographer and educator
Holly Poe, SWI diagnostics was created to provide comfort and convenience for the
patient and superior diagnostics for the physician.
As an ARDMS registered ultrasonographer
for over 10 years, Holly was fortunate to have received her ultrasound training
at one of the few accredited ultrasound programs in the Carolinas . She has worked
with some of the finest radiologists, obstetricians and surgeons in both private
practices as well as in high volume medical imaging centers throughout the southeast.
Holly is proud to hold subspecialty certifications in OB/GYN-Abdomen, Small Parts,
and Vascular Sonography, and had the opportunity to educate and supervise student
interns as an Allied Health Sciences Clinical Coordinator at Trident Technical College.
She later went on to chair the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program as Program
Director. After completing her registry in Vascular Sonography, Holly became the
Chief Vascular Sonographer at Coastal Surgical Associates, but her passion remained
womens health services.
Holly initially started SWI Diagnostics in 2004 to be able
to offer the women of the Lowcountry a high quality diagnostic ultrasound in a comfortable,
patient focused environment. SWI has since expanded to offer general, abdominal,
and vascular ultrasound in addition to the obstetrical scans.
Our goal is to offer
outstanding diagnostics to area physicians at the lowest possible cost.
